Idylles de Bion et de Moschus
Fine early unsigned binding on this French translation of minor Greek poets. There are two duplicate plates, and a third duplicate plate appears to have been excised. Two stamps to title page of Luka Szanton, one dated 1906.

(Jean-Baptiste) Gail. 106, [2 advertisement] pp. Binding height: 5.75" (14.6 cm). Early straight-grain red morocco, attractively gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Light binding rubbing, more so to bottom edge and corners. Light toning, occasional spotting. Very Good. Item #453Price: $450.00
