Several of the plates are by William Blake. This first American edition is rather attractively printed. Bookplate of Edward T. Lyon, and his owner inscription on the front flyleaf.

Period calf, lettering piece. Binding heavily worn with boards essentially detached. Light foxing inside, affecting plates more, some leaves with offsetting from pressed botanical samples previously laid in; pencil annotation to verso of half-title page, with pencil arrow extending to title page.
