Update on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
Revealing memo from a Bay Area public health agency during the infancy of the AIDS crisis, when there were only 750 documented cases nationally, 170 of which were in California. The document comprises a three-page report and a final page with a blank sample "registry" sheet with a survey for gathering the required information on people diagnosed with AIDS, including whether they were a homosexual, as well as details regarding their drugs use. *PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PHOTOCOPY* however, it does appear that it is a period, rather than later, photocopy.
